Episode 111 – Why A Balanced Diet Should Include Eating Doritos

Show Notes

Whether it’s keto, paleo, vegan or any other method…so many of us have hopped on the dieting train and experienced the struggle. We’ve emptied our cupboards and thrown away the chocolate chip cookies. We’ve limited our intake of fats and bad oils.  We’ve resisted the urge to indulge in food that comes along with festivities.  But is this necessary? Is it possible to get in shape while having our cake and eating it too?

Meet Lynette Holye. She’s a Certified Personal Trainer and the founder of Lynette Marie Fitness.  Her coaching philosophy utilizes a flexible nutrition approach to help you create realistic, sustainable changes to your diet and STILL get the results you want. In other words, you don’t have to choose between nachos or abs. =)

Lynette is familiar with the dieting yo-yo. Her personal journey includes the extremes of being unhealthy and overweight to being a burnt-out bikini competitor. She came to the realization that being in shape is also about being in balance.  You’ll love her story!

Today’s entrepreneurial tips include:

~Release your Expectation of Outcome (People will get out of your program what they put into it. You are there to support and provide knowledge. The work is up to them.)

~Realize Your Worth. Your business is not a charity so don’t sell yourself short.

~Determine characteristics of your ideal client.

~Build a morning routine that fills you up so you don’t start your day in a deficit.
